Enjoyed a nice Christmas break! Was still able to nail all of my workouts and enjoy some really nice open water swims!! Spent a wonderful day walking around and looking at the beautiful scenery after a day full of rides in the water park.

One legged Drills

This drill is evil...Really helped me see how much difference in strength between my legs. While I knew that my left leg was more consistent it was interesting to see it happen. My right leg at a certain cadence has a dead spot. I will work more on this to help build it up to the other side. Loving my #lululemon colorful happy wunder under pants and bright pink #nike shoes.

Grandprix Age Group winner

Tonight we had our annual awards and holiday party for the local triathlon club Gulfwinds Triathlon Club and I won first place for my age group for the third year. It was really nice hanging out with my friends from Triattic and all the other members I rarely get to see other than training. Our oldest son, Max also received the Youth Triathlete of the Year award. We are very very proud of him!!! Both of our sons also won age group awards as well! A lot of hardware brought home by our family tonight.

Santa we were really really good this year!!!

Wow its already 2 weeks til christmas!!! off season goes by so fast!!! The news and thoughts of all that has happened in the past couple of months still blows my mind...

Being picked to represent Betty Designs, training for two off road races, throwing down faster splits, and preparing for holiday travel!!! WOAH hold on tight for this ride!!!!

Betty Designs has given the team a sneak peak at the kit and apparel we will have which is really exciting to have unique badass clothing to wear. Newton released a new shoe with the same colors as our kit. #winning

Well that takes me to today.....its thursday and that usually means a strength and ride day....I organized a strength class at Sweat Therapy Fitness and then rode the spin bike at a local gym for 40 minutes. What a great day!!! I love my life because I love the people in it!!! How much of a blessing is that....

Selected athletes will receive the following:
Custom Team SLS3 race outfit 
SLS3 compression socks and race sleeves
SLS3 performance visor
SLS3 race belt
SLS3 swim cap
SLS3 running socks (2prs)
SLS3 run tech tee
SLS3 cycle jersey - available in the $149 option
SLS3 cycle bib shorts - available in the $149 option
Obligations of Team SLS3 athletes:
Team dues of $99 or $149
Must wear team uniform during all races (minimum of 6-8 Triathlon races in one year)
Upload photos from races and training to social media outlets on a weekly bases
Submit race results within a week after race date
Be a strong brand ambassador in local racing/training community, promoting the SLS3 brand.
Athletes who are interested in becoming a member of Team SLS3 are asked to contact Vanessa at Vanessa@slstri.com. Please include a race resume with past results, a digital race photo and a 2015 tentative race schedule.

Up Next!!! Swamp Trail and San Felasco

I have two off road races coming up! One is Swamp Forest Trail 1/2 Marathon and the other is Tour De Felasco. 

I am really enjoying this beautiful weather and riding in the woods all day!!! Today we had a huge fox squirrel try and keep up with us on one of the trails....looked so cute!!!

Today is a run day but we got my husband a new bike yesterday and he was dying to take it out for a spin. He loves it and that makes me so happy!! 

We are heading in to see our favorite therapist at Stretching Your Life for our weekly maintenance appointment...#injuryprevention

This afternoon will be sufferfest with a progressive to fast run!!!
